Who am I?

Joining the party in 2016, I have held a number of roles at Labour branch/CLP executive and enjoyed being an Labour Party Councillor for 6 years at Adur Council. Like you, I was thrilled to see an Labour Party government elected in 2024. Yet, we have become increasingly internalised, allow power to be weilded from a small subset of Labour Party representatives. But failing to draw on the collective talent, voice and resourcing of our movement. Integrity is now more important than ever.

With a keen interest in the environment and children and family services, I drove a campaign to successfully call a climate emergency at our council. As well as campaigns to increase school spaces, and stop Family Centre’s closing.

I sit on the executive for LCER, am a SERA member and West Sussex Branch Secretary for The Co-operative Party

I lead two charities: Sussex Prisoners’ Families and Adur Community Cafe.

I was proud to attend the Jo Cox Women In Leadership Programme in 2023, where I met many fantastic women. I stood on a platform with some of those women in 2024, when I was elected onto the NEC for a 2-year term.

I now seek re-election in 2026 (nominations deadline 26th June, noon), under the Mainstream slate. Mainstream is a movement unifying the left and soft left members. Coming together to save the values and integrity of The Labour Party. The Labour Party’s reputation and raising member’s voices has never been as crucial as it is right now.

If you wish me to or my Mainstream colleagues to speak at your CLP to hear more about us drop me an email here.

I write regular reports for the NEC, please see more here. Sign-up to my newsletter’s here.
